We are delighted to confirm that in December 2020, we received full planning permission for 14 Eco-Lodges to be built on the Estate. These lodges will be located in the vacant field on the south bank where the old driving range was. These lodges will have some of the very best views across the Firth of Forth. The lodges will offer high quality self-catering holiday accommodation throughout the year providing 2 or 3 double bedroom accommodation, en‐suite bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and living space. They will incorporate environmentally low-impact materials and be designed using technology to reduce carbon footprint and lower energy needs. We will confirm in due course the timescale for the construction of these. This projects is an exciting one for Charleton as is the first stage of numerous development phases that are planned.
